The toaster oven of perfection!

fullsizeoutput_3539You might recall the post about the death of our toaster oven. It has long been gone now and our new one is in use. I must stop to say, I love this thing! It’s the Chef’s Convection Toaster Oven by Cuisinart. It is more expensive than many other toaster ovens, but this thing was so worth it, especially if you use the heck out of your appliance like we do. It has so many options, the shelf is movable, the dial selects easily and the interior light is just awesome. I’ve made just about everything from brownies to broiled fish in this puppy. I haven’t tried the pizza stone yet, but give me time. I think the coolest feature is the convection, I can toast tater-tots on 375F for 9 min with convection and they are done to a hot crispy texture, perfect for dipping in ketchup! It really is the most used appliance in our kitchen. With maybe the food processor, rice cooker, chopper and steamer all coming in line next. I try to use my stand mixer as much as I can, but that thing is so heavy to move that I sometimes just don’t even try. Although making homemade, gluten free pasta on the pasta attachments has been a great way to make a tasty fresh meal. I’m very happy with our little toaster oven. I’m hoping it lasts a long, long time.
