For the 6th consecutive year, I Love Yarn Day is being celebrated today, October 15th! This year, the theme for fiber artists is to share their love for all things yarn by “stitch it forward”. You can do this too by teaching one person to crochet, knit, weave, or spin. Share your love of yarn art with a friend, your neighbor, a stranger or a family member! Crochet in public and offer to show how to do what you do to whomever happens to stop to watch you. I Love Yarn Day has become a massive social phenomenon, hashtags #stitchitforward and #iloveyarnday are used in Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest or Facebook posts to show our love for the yarn arts and encourage more to connect with other artists. So come with us, post what you love to do and be part of I Love Yarn Day!
I Love Yarn Day

As an experienced fiber artist, I crochet and knit a variety of scarves, hat and other fiber art accessories using the wonderful local handmade, hand-dyed yarns in my area. I also use the best yarns made from wool, alpaca, mohair, silk and bamboo, while still using acrylic for those items that need easy care. View all posts by La Paw Boutique
